My Special Day of Opening Presents

  1. It's Time for Presents!

Today is a special day because I get to open presents! I feel excited and happy. I can take a deep breath to help me stay calm.

  2. Waiting for My Turn

There are other people here who also want to open their presents. I will wait patiently for my turn. I can count to ten or draw a picture in my mind while I wait.

  3. Watching Others Open Their Gifts

When someone else is opening their present, I will watch and smile. They might feel happy and surprised, just like I do. I can clap or say, "Wow!" to show I am happy for them.

  4. My Turn to Open a Present

Now it’s my turn! I will carefully open my present and see what’s inside. I can take my time and enjoy the surprise.

  5. Unexpected Gifts

Sometimes, I might get a gift I didn’t expect. That’s okay! I can still say, "Thank you," and think about how I might use it or share it with others.

  6. Managing My Excitement

If I feel too excited, I can take a deep breath or squeeze my hands together. This helps me feel calm and enjoy the moment.

  7. Saying Thank You

After I open my present, I will say, "Thank you," to show I appreciate the gift. This makes the person who gave it to me feel happy too.

Conclusion: Today, I learned how to wait my turn, enjoy surprises, and manage my excitement while opening presents. I did a great job! I can feel proud of myself for being patient and kind. Next time, I will try to remember these steps and have fun opening presents again!
